Annual General Meeting, Monday 8th March 2010

An excellent evening was had by all. Congratulations to the newly elected committee and all the award winners. Particular thanks to the two retiring long serving members, Simon Scott and Dave Southern. After 10 years services both are retiring from their main roles on the committee (although Simon Scott remains on the committee as the Power Coordinator).

There was a great deal of audience participation which enlivened proceedings!

XC Talk by Dean Crosby, Monday 12th April 2010

Dean Crosby from Active Edge is to present a talk on cross country flying. This builds on our earlier talks by John Murphy and Pat Dower

Dean Crosby was the British Paragliding Champion and British Paragliding Cross Country Champion in 1993. Dean Crosby was also the 2006 British Paragliding Cross Country Champion. He’s served on the prestigious BHPA Flying and Safety committee being responsible for Pilot Training. He's the only pilot to compete at national level in all three soaring disciplines.

If you are interested in XC this is an absolute must attend evening.
