Over the last few months, the BHPA has been working with the CAA to try to educate those who fly Paramotors with no training. Together they have worked up the Paramotor Code.

On the 19th Novemer, Richard Butterworth gave a review of the airlaw part of the pilot exam, along with additional hints and tips and some exercises to help in everyday flying which are not on the exam.

Coaching Exercise - Navigation and Instruments

For those taking part in the coaching exercise on navigating with your instruments - make sure you read and study the manual for your software/instrument. Download the two waypoint files, unzip them and install them in the correct place on your instrument. Check that you can access them. On the day you will need to assemble a task using selected waypoints, edit the size of the waypoint circles, then complete the task.
